Full BIO
Anne Grady is a resilience and adaptability expert who has spent more than two decades helping people and organizations build the mindset and skill set to thrive in a world of constant change.
Through her company, The Anne Grady Group, she’s partnered with some of the world’s leading organizations — from Microsoft and Dell to the U.S. Army and AT&T — equipping leaders and teams with tools to navigate disruption with courage, clarity, and heart.
Anne’s journey began not in the boardroom, but in the trenches of real life. When her son was diagnosed at a young age with severe mental health challenges as well as autism and developmental delays, her world turned upside down. At the same time, she faced her own health crisis, requiring major surgery and months of recovery. These experiences forced her to put her research on resilience into practice — and inspired her to redefine what it means to “bounce back.”
She discovered that resilience isn’t about returning to where you were before — it’s about using adversity as a catalyst to grow forward. That discovery became the foundation of her latest book, “EvolvAbility: Growing Forward When Life Goes Sideways.”
In “EvolvAbility,” Anne draws from neuroscience, psychology, and personal experience to introduce a new framework for navigating change: the EVOLVE Framework — six pillars that strengthen emotional intelligence, values alignment, focus, leadership, cognitive flexibility, and empowerment.
Anne’s approach has helped countless audiences and organizations transform how they think about adversity. Known for her blend of warmth, wit, and wisdom, she makes the science of adaptability accessible and actionable.
Her work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Fast Company, Entrepreneur, and Inc. She has spoken on stages across the U.S. and internationally, inspiring audiences to embrace change, cultivate emotional intelligence, and lead with authenticity.
When she’s not speaking or writing, Anne can be found at her ranch outside Austin, Texas, enjoying time with her husband and their herd of rescue animals. She donates a portion of all book proceeds to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
